A big thankyou to everyone
who came to the event - was great to have a strong mix from across the teams. Was a great night.
Aside from Lachy standing in
front of the projector, I thought the layout worked well & allowed us to
enjoy the outside space too. Always
happy to take any suggestions on ways to improve the event, fingers crossed
we'll have Toddy's extravaganza up & running for next year.
Congratulations again to all
the winners - Jack, Mike, G, Jono, Josh, Brad and Reid. Full results are set out in the tables down below and there's a photo of the winners (and photobombing losers too ha ha).
I wanted to make a few
special thankyous though:
§ Kobe & Orks for some height based assistance with
setup
§ Purge for sorting out the voting boards, great to see
you walking around mate (PS - Purge took out the betting for the closes tipping
in case anyone was wondering)
§ Hitman, G-Man, and Rough Justice for counting the
votes
§ The captains for coordinating the votes every week
§ The Lady Reds for coming and along with the other
partners who came, (as Palky put it so eloquently), adding some gravitas -
great to have you all there
§ Liam for organising the medals
§ Palky for all his assistance on email & in the
lead up - I know he was really sorry to miss the whole thing
§ The scary calisthenics clown faces in the dining area
- probably best Palky wasn't there
§ Tom, Victoria & the Seven Stars staff who looked
after us
§ And of course, Lachy & Orks for the entertainment
on the mike & vote counting. Not sure how The Marine and Frangers feel
about their new nicknames...
